How does “motorcycle taxi” training work?
General
- The VMDTR driver (known as “Moto Taxi”) provides, upon prior reservation and by means of a two or three-wheeled motorized vehicle, private public transport services for people and their luggage. It ensures the safety and comfort of passengers during the journey.
- The training is organized by Felix CityBird in partnership with the FNTDR (Fédération Nationale des Transports à Deux Roues).
- Training sessions are organized several times a year. They are systematically scheduled shortly before the CMA exams.
The objectives
- This action aims to prepare for the (theoretical and/or practical) examination for access to the profession of driver of a two or three-wheel motorized vehicle (VMDTR) with the aim of obtaining the professional card.
- The trainers are professionals and will alternate between transmitting knowledge and practical cases. This is to encourage acquisition by trainees with the help of a training manual, “mock” quizzes, course materials, etc. They have competent professionals due to their diplomas and professional experience.

- Our training courses aim to provide you with complete preparation, carried out face-to-face and remotely or remotely only.

- Presential : At Citybird, at 201 rue de Vaugirard in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, in a dedicated training room, with a maximum capacity of 10 people
- Distancial : Partly on our dedicated training site:
Citybird Formation. Partly on the road, and partly at Citybird headquarters. Candidates must come to the training with a two-wheeled vehicle in order to follow the trainer. It is not necessary that it meets the standards of the Moto Taxi exercise.

Theoretical training takes place mainly online or in our premises at 201 rue de Vaugirard, Paris 15.
Motorcycle taxi training hours are as follows: 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Monday to Friday working days with 2 breaks)
Total duration of the full-time internship:

Please note: criminal record bulletin no. 2 is not necessary for registration for training, nor for taking the exam. But, to obtain the professional card, he must be free of the following convictions:
– Offense punishable under the Highway Code by a reduction of half of the maximum number of points
– Driving a vehicle without holding a driving license corresponding to the category of vehicle used or for driving despite the cancellation of the driving license or despite the ban on obtaining the issuance of the license, or for refusal to surrender your driving license after invalidation
– Pronounced by a French or foreign court with a sentence of at least six months' imprisonment for theft, fraud, breach of trust, willful harm to the integrity of the person, sexual assault or violation of drug legislation
Training costs can be covered by your Pôle Emploi. You must take the steps directly with your agency. We can send you the necessary documents if necessary.
In addition, training can be covered by the CPF!
The scooter is provided for the practical test. This is a Burgman 650. It is fully insured and equipped to allow you to take the exam with peace of mind.
Registering for the exam and the training are two separate things.
You must register for the VMDTR exam on the Chamber of Trades website and download the requested documents (CNI, proof of address, driving license, etc.) in clicking here.
